Are any AI tools good at converting text to plain language?

I'm looking for an AI tool that can convert complicated text into plain language. By that I mean Grade 8 reading level or less with no hard-to-read or very-hard-to-read sentences (as measured by, say, hemingwayapp.com). Is there such a thing?

Have you tried ChatGPT with reasoning? Like the o3 model. Prompt stating "Convert this text into Grade 8 reading level" would be enough.

Haven't heard of a specific tool for this, and it's probably not needed.
