I think you need to think new. Using old software will just be a pain.... Working with the API would work I think. Record the sound, send to AI API. Format with AI for your taste, then start to edit... Chunking the output has worked for me also. AI has problems with long audio files...

You probably used them somehow... I've wasted some by asking then stopping the process. Without realizing I've started a deep research... Use some other ai tool? Gemini from Google has deep research also.

Haven't heard of any "AI gif-animation editor", you could edit the animated gif the old way without AI. Then improve / switch individual images with AI. Batch edit images with AI should be possible also., Why exactly do you want to update the gifs? @MarkW68

How low is the latency? Saw a test someone had done with a $5000 computer or so and deepseek, and it was slooowww. Personally I use Groq. Fast and cheap.
